The piece, in full.
Pivot makes adjustment readable. A pale-ash back rotates around a circular aluminium joint aligned with the sitter’s lower spine, while a tensioned wool panel flexes within the timber frame.
A compact seat preserves movement at the desk. Height, recline tension, and seat depth are adjusted beneath the right edge with three clearly differentiated controls.
The chair is designed for focused work without importing the visual weight of a conventional technical task chair into a residential interior.

What it is made from, and how.
MATERIALS + FINISH
Solid and laminated European ash; die-cast aluminium; high-twist wool textile; moulded foam; steel mechanism; soft castors.
Pale soap-finished ash; light-grey wool upholstery; clear satin aluminium base and mechanism.
PRODUCTION METHOD
The five-star base and central joint are die-cast, machined at bearing surfaces, and satin-finished. Ash side rails are laminated, shaped, and assembled around the pivot.
Wool textile is cut under controlled tension and replaceably fixed inside the frame. Each mechanism is cycle-tested before final upholstery.
BEFORE AND AFTER DELIVERY
Specify it well. Keep it for longer.
Customisation
Available with low or high back, with or without slim adjustable arms. Textile options include light grey, mineral, natural, charcoal, and customer-approved contract wool.
Choose soft castors for hard floors or standard castors for carpet.
Care
Vacuum the mesh and seat with a soft attachment. Wipe aluminium with a damp microfiber cloth and dry.
The mechanism should be inspected after five years of intensive use; replacement mesh, castors, and arm pads are available.
Delivery
Delivered with the seat assembly mounted; the base and gas lift are fitted without tools on arrival.
Contract orders can be delivered assembled and blanket-wrapped by region.
