The piece, in full.
Nera separates the chair into a structural frame and a suspended surface. Two continuous walnut side pieces form the front legs, arms, and rear supports; three crossbars hold a thick saddle-leather sling clear of the timber.
The seat settles gradually with use and can be retensioned from below. A slim lumbar cushion adds softness without disguising the construction.
Low arms and a generous recline make Nera suited to reading, conversation, or the quieter edge of a hotel lobby.

What it is made from, and how.
MATERIALS + FINISH
Solid American black walnut; full-grain saddle leather; wool-filled lumbar cushion; blackened brass fasteners.
Hand-rubbed walnut oil; saddle-tan full-grain leather; warm-grey wool lumbar cushion.
PRODUCTION METHOD
Matched walnut blanks are laminated for strength, then cut and hand-shaped into mirrored side frames. Crossbars are tenoned through the frame and locked with discreet brass pins.
The saddle-leather sling is skived, edge-painted, and saddle-stitched before being tensioned on removable underside bars.
BEFORE AND AFTER DELIVERY
Specify it well. Keep it for longer.
Customisation
Walnut may be natural, lightly smoked, or blackened. Saddle leather is offered in natural, tobacco, saddle tan, and dark brown; the lumbar cushion can be specified in KORVAE textiles.
Seat height can be increased by 20 mm for contract orders following ergonomic review.
Care
Dust timber and leather separately. Condition leather sparingly with the supplied neutral balm; test any product on a concealed area.
Rotate and gently plump the lumbar cushion. Avoid placing the chair near radiators or strong direct sun.
Delivery
Delivered fully assembled in a fitted crate with reusable corner protection.
A clear route of at least 82 cm is recommended.
