LEGAL / CONDITIONS OF USE

Website Terms

Effective 28 August 2026

READ BEFORE ADAPTING

These generic terms are provided as adaptable template content for a furniture catalogue and enquiry website. KORVAE is fictional. A template purchaser must replace business details and obtain legal advice appropriate to its products, customers, sales channels, and jurisdictions before publication.

01

Website Use

You may use this website for lawful personal or professional research and enquiries. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security, misrepresent your identity, submit unlawful material, scrape content in a way that burdens the service, or use the site to infringe another person’s rights.

02

Product Information

Descriptions, dimensions, weights, materials, finishes, images, and availability are provided for general information and specification discussion. Natural materials and hand-applied finishes vary. Screen colour is not a finish reference. Final specifications are those confirmed in an accepted quotation, signed drawing, approved sample, or order document.

03

Pricing

Displayed prices, where used, may exclude delivery, installation, taxes, duties, customization, storage, and destination-specific services unless clearly stated. ‘Price on Request’ indicates that a current quotation is required. Website information is not an offer capable of acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.

04

Quotes

A quotation should identify the relevant products, finishes, dimensions, quantities, services, estimated lead time, currency, taxes, delivery assumptions, validity period, and payment schedule. A contract is formed only through the acceptance process stated in the quotation or order confirmation.

05

Made-to-Order Products

Production normally begins after required deposits, drawings, finishes, and other approvals are received. Made-to-order work may not be cancellable or refundable once production has begun, subject to mandatory consumer rights and the specific contract. Natural variation is not automatically a defect.

06

Custom Finishes and Dimensions

Custom requests are subject to feasibility, testing, sample and drawing approval, additional charges, minimum quantities where relevant, and revised lead times. Approval of a sample establishes a range rather than a guarantee of identical natural material or hand-applied colour.

07

Lead Times

Lead times are estimates beginning only when all order requirements are complete. Material availability, approvals, production capacity, holidays, testing, and events outside reasonable control may affect timing. Any date that is contractually guaranteed must be stated expressly in the accepted order.

08

Delivery

Delivery scope, access assumptions, installation, storage, packaging removal, risk transfer, and inspection requirements should be stated in the quotation. The customer is responsible for accurate access information and any building permissions or specialist lifting not included in the agreed scope.

09

Returns

Return rights depend on the product, whether it is standard or made to order, the customer type, location, condition, and mandatory law. Custom and made-to-order products may be excluded from discretionary returns. Damage, shortage, or error should be reported promptly with packaging and photographs retained.

10

Intellectual Property

Website design, product designs, drawings, text, images, trademarks, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are transferred by website access or enquiry. Content may not be copied, manufactured from, distributed, or used commercially without written permission, except where law allows.

11

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that restriction and the specific contract, the business should define reasonable limits for indirect loss, business interruption, loss of profit, misuse, unauthorised alteration, incorrect installation, and reliance on preliminary website information.

12

Governing Law

The governing law and courts or dispute-resolution process should be stated by the live business according to its legal entity, customer type, and mandatory consumer protections. Replace this paragraph before publication rather than assuming the fictional location determines every contract.

13

Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to legal@korvae.example or KORVAE, Wijnhaven 44, 3011 WS Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Replace these fictional details with the seller’s legal name, registration information, and current address before publication.
