OBJECT NOTES
The piece, in full.
Arc Fold begins with one continuous timber gesture. Two broad radii turn the upper plane into its supports, while a honed limestone panel sits several millimetres below the surrounding oak.
The inset creates a protected surface for books, ceramics, and daily objects. Its quiet mineral tone sharpens the grain and gives the low table a calm centre of gravity.
From floor level, the open ends frame the room beyond; from above, the piece reads as a precise meeting of curved timber and stone.

MATERIAL / METHOD
What it is made from, and how.
MATERIALS + FINISH
Laminated European oak; solid-oak edge lippings; honed warm-ivory limestone; concealed stainless-steel fixings; felt floor protectors.
Pale limed oak with low-sheen hardwax oil; warm-ivory limestone honed to a soft matte surface.
PRODUCTION METHOD
Thin oak laminations are pressed over two matched forms, joined to a stable upper core, then edged and refined by hand so the grain continues over both bends.
The limestone inset is waterjet-cut, hand-honed, and mechanically secured from below so either material can be refinished independently.
BEFORE AND AFTER DELIVERY
Specify it well. Keep it for longer.
Customisation
Oak is offered in pale limed, natural oiled, light smoked, or blackened finishes. The inset may be specified in warm limestone, light travertine, or client-approved stone.
A shorter 96 cm version is available; bespoke stone is reviewed for thickness, porosity, and structural suitability.
Care
Dust the timber with a clean soft cloth and remove spills promptly. Avoid silicone polish and abrasive pads.
Use coasters on the limestone, avoid acidic cleaners, and blot liquids rather than allowing them to remain on the surface.
Delivery
Delivered fully assembled in a protective timber case. Felt glides are supplied for stone and timber floors.
Two-person placement is recommended.
