OBJECT NOTES
The piece, in full.
Relay is built around the equipment a desk normally tries to hide. A slim graphite rail runs beneath the rear edge, carrying a removable cable tray and movable accessories while the main surface remains open.
The walnut top is thinner at its perimeter and deeper around the rail. Exactly two offset U-frames leave the front elevation open and move the structure away from the sitter’s knees.
The system suits a private study, a creative studio, or an executive workplace where tools need to remain ordered but close at hand.

MATERIAL / METHOD
What it is made from, and how.
MATERIALS + FINISH
Solid and veneered American black walnut; anodized aluminium; recycled felt; stainless-steel fasteners.
Natural oiled walnut; graphite-anodized organiser rail; clear-anodized U-frame legs.
PRODUCTION METHOD
The top uses a stable engineered core faced and edged in selected walnut, then shaped to a fine 14 mm perimeter. Aluminium U-frames are bent, welded, dressed, and anodized.
The rear rail is machined with a continuous slot so accessories can be positioned without drilling or adhesives.
BEFORE AND AFTER DELIVERY
Specify it well. Keep it for longer.
Customisation
Available at 150, 180, and 220 cm widths. Walnut may be natural, lightly smoked, or blackened; the organiser rail can be graphite, clear anodized, or dark bronze.
Power modules are specified by destination and quoted separately. Custom cable-routing drawings are available for project orders.
Care
Use a desk mat beneath equipment with abrasive feet. Wipe timber with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
Clean anodized parts with neutral soap only; remove accessories before cleaning the rail.
Delivery
Delivered with the top, two frames, rail, and accessories separately packed. Specialist assembly takes approximately 30 minutes.
Power components are fitted on site by a qualified local contractor where required.
